ABOUT ARTIST

Malak Ibrahim is a Jordanian artist who was born, raised, and educated in the United Arab Emirates. Her work revolves around graffiti art and home décor, and she is one of the founding members of the UAE Graffiti Team.

 

Among her most notable projects are the largest mural
in the UAE (located in Mina, Abu Dhabi), as well as the Al Shahama and Asharej tunnel murals in the cities of Al Ain and Abu Dhabi. She has also participated in numerous public and private exhibitions across the Arab world. She was part of the team that entered the Guinness World Records for the world’s largest graffiti wall in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, as a member of the UAE Graffiti Team.

Malak describes her artistic journey by saying: “I constantly seek to discover new materials in my work and experiment with a wide range of media and  forms. Every new medium offers a different feeling— whether I paint on canvas, paper, or walls using acrylics, oil paints, ink, spray paint, or even coffee. My focus is always on capturing human beings and expressions.”
